This a high-performance replacement pressure switch designed for Remco 5500 Series Professional Grade pumps. This switch is the "brain" of your demand pump, ensuring it automatically turns on when flow is required and shuts off once the desired pressure is reached.

Adjusting the Pressure

If the pump is "cycling" (rapidly turning on and off) or not reaching the desired shut-off:

  • Tool: Use a 1/16" Allen (Hex) key.

  • Increase Pressure: Turn the small set screw in the center of the switch clockwise.

  • Decrease Pressure: Turn the set screw counter-clockwise.

  • Rule of Thumb: Adjust in 1/2 turn increments. Never exceed 3 full turns in either direction from the factory setting.

IMPORTANT! If you hear a "clicking" sound from the relay on a Fatboy pump but the motor won't turn on, it usually indicates that the relay or the switch has failed and needs replacement.
